The student theater located in downtown Tucson is meant to be an educational lab for all University of Arizona students that are involved with theater performance and theater production. The theater is designed to provide easy access and education in all aspects of theater production and performance. 

 

The design of the site creates an educational zone for each category of production, all of which are placed in connection the main theater space as well as around an open public space for the students to utilize. This outdoor space, with its close and open proximity to the students spaces, acts as an informal stage where students can practice and learn from one another. 

 

The overall goal of this design is to provide easy access and education of all aspects of theater production and performance.
